Abel Pomar

Abel Pomar was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of AdelFi by the Board of Directors in February 2016.

Mr. Pomar joined AdelFi in August 2014 as Chief Operations Officer from Bank of America, where he led the delivery of regulatory compliance change and transformation initiatives across the enterprise. 

During his seven years at Bank of America, he held various leadership positions, including roles in global marketing and corporate affairs, technology delivery, mergers and acquisitions, change management, strategic planning and continuous improvement, and finance.

Abel’s experience in banking technology, regulations, compliance and process improvement combined with his long-time Christian walk brought a new God-directed vision for how AdelFi will better serve Christian ministries, individuals, families and small business owners in the years to come.

Mr. Pomar holds a bachelor’s degree in operations management and an MBA with a concentration in finance from California State University, Los Angeles.
